Application For GTBank Days of Dorcas Online Photography Competition and workshop

The Days of Dorcas Photography Workshop is a corporate social responsibility initiative of Guaranty Trust Bank plc. The Days of Dorcas Online Competition and Workshop is an annual photography workshop for female African photographers. The initiative is meant to inspire and thus increase the number of female entrepreneurs in the Art of photography across Africa. All female photographers across Africa and of African descent are welcome to apply for the online competition from which the top entries will be selected as workshop participants.




Are you a Female Photographer?

Participate in the Days of Dorcas photography competition and stand a chance to win free prizes and attend a workshop with leading African photographers. Registration for the competition is free and workshop attendees will be shortlisted from the top 25 entries of the online competition.

  • All workshop participants will be offered all the opportunities available to artists of the GTBank Art635 gallery.

  • Understanding exposure and making exposure decisions.
  • How lighting directions affect images.

  • CROPPING: Altering and changing the content.
