Compliance Officer

 Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Are you a legal professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for compliance and corporate governance? We’re looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team in Abuja.


Your Mission:

As a Compliance Officer, you’ll provide legal advisory and compliance support to the Group. You'll ensure our operations align with all relevant laws and regulations while proactively managing legal risk.


Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

· Develop and implement internal compliance policies and procedures.

· Serve as liaison with regulatory bodies and legal associations.

· Keep management informed of regulatory updates and implications.

· Oversee legal documentation, board meetings, contracts, and SLA reviews.

· Provide support on legal risks, corporate governance, and AML training.

· Draft, negotiate, and review legal agreements and business contracts.


What We’re Looking For:

· A qualified lawyer with at least 2 years post-NYSC experience, either in private practice or a corporate legal role.

· Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (SEC, tax, pensions, company law).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience in liaising with regulators and external legal advisors.

· A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
