 The Talku Talku is looking for a Content Marketing Executive with a proven track record in developing and executing high-impact content marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is experienced in SEO, Social Media Marketing (SMM), and Email Marketing, and is comfortable using tools like Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, or similar platforms. You’ll be responsible for content ideation, creation, distribution, and performance tracking across multiple channels, with a strong focus on driving brand awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversions.


This role is remote but limited to candidates currently residing in Nigeria. Applicants must have completed NYSC and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business goals and target audience interests.
  • Plan, create, and publish compelling content across blog, email, website, and social media platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement best-in-class SEO strategies to improve organic reach and search rankings.
  • Manage and grow Talku Talku’s social media presence using creative and engaging content formats.
  • Execute and manage email marketing campaigns (newsletters, onboarding, promotions) using platforms like Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, etc.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to inform optimizations and future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with design, video, and tech teams to produce engaging multimedia content (articles, visuals, short videos, reels, infographics, etc.).
  • Maintain and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all campaigns.
  • Source and repurpose UGC (user-generated content) or external contributor content to support content goals.
  • Stay updated with content trends, algorithm changes, and marketing best practices to keep Talku Talku ahead of the curve.
  • Assist with copywriting needs for ads, landing pages, product descriptions, and campaign materials.
  • Identify opportunities for backlinks, guest posts, and third-party content distribution.
  • Monitor and respond to social media engagement, ensuring timely replies to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a positive and active community.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SMM, and Email Marketing principles and tools.
  • Experience using email marketing software like Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, or equivalent.
  • Ability to write high-quality content with proper grammar, tone, and clarity for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in content planning and performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or SEMRush (or similar).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, or content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience working with or managing content calendars.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • A results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
