We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Specialist to Support Nigeria with management of Direct and Indirect sourcing activities based on the category strategy and work with functional stakeholders across Aggreko’s geographies & functional stakeholder communities

What You’ll Do

  • You will be responsible for managing the procurement process for Direct Categories, mainly focused on the subcategories of ICE (Internal combustion engine), TC (Temperature Control) and Solar system.
  • Responsible for procurement of Products and Services
  • Analyze spending and compliance data
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance.
  • Define and communicate clear product or service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement processes and documentation.
  • Lead pricing negotiations to secure cost-effective supplier agreements.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • 5 years of experience in technical procurement (automotive, machines etc).
  • Experienced in procurement of goods and services ideally gathered from a range of different buying categories. Understanding of supplier dynamics and marketplaces.
  • Good understanding of how to manipulate and analyse spend and compliance data, with an understanding of typical Procurement levers they can pull to drive greater value and cost out
  • Familiarity with technical specifications of products and services.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • College degree in business administration, engineering or similar
  • Candidate to be locally based in Nigeria
  • Excellent communication skills – English language is must
