Job Position: AGM Actuarial
Sector: Insurance

Purpose of role
Lead actuarial work supporting high
value networks, and joint ventures for Business advantage, oversee the analysis
of statistical data. Manage and
supervise team to ascertain premium rates required and cash reserves necessary
to ensure payment of future benefits.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with programmers,
underwriters, accounts, claims experts, and senior management to help companies
develop plans for new lines of business or improving existing business.
Design, review and help administer
insurance, annuity and pension plans, determining financial soundness and
calculating premiums.
Provide expertise to help financial
institutions manage risks and maximize returns associated with investment
products or credit offerings.
Serve as a subject matter expert on
processes for model development & actuarial change control.
Communicate technical information,
develop or maintain databases
Develop tables depicting data
Evaluate degree of financial risk
Explain complex mathematical
information, interpret charts or tables for social or economic research
Qualifications/Competencies
ACA or Equivalent
3-5years experience, in senior
positions.
Experience in actuarial analysis
Background in Model Development,
Systems Development, and Change Control Processes.
Strong leadership skills and
interpersonal skills
Analytical/Problem solving skills
