Job Summary
The Company Secretary/Legal Adviser will organise all board
secretarial activities and ensure guidance in the execution of the Company’s
corporate governance structure. Candidate will provide effective administrative
support in the execution of the institution’s corporate governance and advise
management on company law and agreements.
Duties &
Responsibilities
Ensures the statutory books, registers and other records
which the institution is required by law to maintain.
Provide a comprehensive Legal Service to deal with legal
issues.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the
institution’s Board, including preparation of agenda, papers, resolutions, and
minutes.
Deal with correspondence, collating information and writing
reports, ensuring decisions made are
B (Hons), Law/ B.L, Law
Seven (7) years’ relevant experience as a Company Secretary
in a reputable organisation.
Membership of relevant professional bodies i.e. ICSA will be
an advantage.
Knowledge of laws guiding Capital Importation would be an
added advantage
Excellent communication, persuasion and documentation
skills.
