Job Title: Team Member, Subsidiary Audit, Francophone–(Credit Audit Specialist)

Client: Banking Institution

Location: Nigeria-For Francophone Countries

Salary: Excellent Package + Benefits

Mandatory Requirements: Successful candidates should be bilingual (French and English)

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct audit of subsidiary in line with approved audit plan
• Ascertain the extent to which credit approvals are in accordance with the banks established Credit Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Ascertain the extent to which incomes are booked on a timely basis.
• Ascertain the adequacy of the allowances, (Provisions) for loan losses and other asset valuation reserves.
• Review the adequacy of internal control credit review functions.
• Recommend improvements, in the course of the audit, for business and operational processes with the overall objective to improve timeliness, accuracy, reliability, and quality standards in products and services.
• Execute assigned audit tasks within the budgeted cost and time.
• Maintain proper records of audit reports for the bank for reference purpose and to meet the requirements of our External Examiners and Regulators.
• Assist in the issuance of quality assurance report (audit report) based on the findings of the audit in an acceptable manner as advised.
• Follow up with subsidiaries for compliance on reports issued.

Key Performance Indicators

100% coverage of the bank’s risk assets assigned.

Zero unreported credit regulatory infraction.

Zero credit income loss (in areas reviewed)

Job Requirements

Education

First degree (or equivalent) in Banking & Finance, Accounting or related discipline (an MBA will be an advantage).

Professional qualification in Banking and Accounting e.g. ACIB, ACA or ACCA will be added advantage

Bilingual (French and English )

Experience

Three (3) years cognate experience in audit, credit management and banking operations.

Have a sound knowledge of Credit Analysis

Have a sound knowledge of the Bank’s Credit Policy and products.

A critical mind.
