Medical Supply Assistant at Medside Healthcare

Job Title: Medical Supply Assistant (Work from Home)

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Part Time

Now is the time for you to be involved in the care of our patients and the exciting expansion of our company!


Responsibilities


  • Create and respond to emails, chats, voicemails, etc.
  • Document all of the work progress in the agenda spreadsheet.
  • Date entry into system.
  • Communicate with Supervisor any discrepancies
  • Place, approve and continuously audit supply orders.
  • Place DME (walker, hospital bed, etc ) requests via fax and complete audits
  • Tracking supplies orders
  • Able to make judgement calls in regards to patients supply orders



Requirements

  • Medical School Graduate
  • Foreign Trained Physician or Registered Nurse
  • Tech savvy and Must own home computer
  • Experience with EMR system
  • Medical writing; Developing educational material; Literature searches; Continuing Medical Education; Community outreach; Public Relations
  • Desire to provide the utmost in patient-centered care
  • Ability to: multi-task in a busy clinical environment; handle a vast amount & variety of responsibilities; improvise and adapt; work in a team; follow directions and implement feedback to improve job performance
  • Leadership capability
  • Superb verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills


Perks


  • This position will begin Part-Time with potential to turn into a Full-Time position by the end of the year
  • Hours are Monday - Friday between 8am - 3pm (Eastern Standard Time)
