We are hiring a Writer to join our team remotely. We are a digital platform publishing curated architecture and design content from Africa and other parts of the world. The ideal candidate would be an architect, designer, or construction professional that loves writing and is looking to explore a career in Architectural journalism, or a writer/journalist that is versatile enough to write about all things architecture.
Job Description
1. Develop, write, and deliver drafts as scheduled daily.
2. Follow our Content and SEO guidelines when developing drafts.
3. Draft post ideas for approval.
4. Generate ideas for new content types and proofread articles before publication.
5. Keep up with deadlines as timeliness is extremely important.
6. Keep up with all the local and global happenings in the industry and draft news content daily.
Job Requirements
1. A degree in architecture, interior design or a related course of study, or a degree in English Language/Literary Studies, journalism, or related course of study.
2. Be able to write about architecture and design with writing samples as proof.
3. Able to work under pressure and deliver high-quality copies in a short time.
4. Be tech-savvy and able to learn fast.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Keen attention to detail.
