Job Description:

BNG Technologies is seeking a skilled Email and Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' email communications and overall cybersecurity infrastructure. You will analyze email traffic, identify potential threats, and implement strategies to prevent security breaches. Additionally, you will contribute to broader cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring that our systems remain resilient against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze email traffic for potential security threats, including phishing, malware, and spam.
• Implement and manage email security protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
•  Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents related to email and broader IT infrastructure.
•  Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on email systems and networks.
•  Collaborate with IT and security teams to deploy and maintain security technologies, such as firewalls, email gateways, and encryption tools.
•  Develop and deliver training programs on email security best practices for internal teams and clients.
•  Keep abreast of the latest email and cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends, and recommend improvements to security policies and procedures.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and provide recommendations to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on email security.
• Strong knowledge of email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and security technologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and email gateways.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
•  Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
