About Us
We are a newly established microfinance bank set to commence operations, committed to financial excellence and innovation. We seek an experienced Head, Financial Control & MIS to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and management information systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control processes.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage financial control systems to mitigate risks.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and financial records.
- Oversee the bank’s Management Information System (MIS) for accurate data management.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience in financial control, preferably in the financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage.
