Job Title: Fashion Ecommerce Support Specialist 

Location: Lagos

Full-Time


Responsibilities

• Provide support to marketplace merchants and customers across multiple channels- live chat, email, social media, platform messaging too, phone etc.

• Support marketplace merchants with the on-boarding process: registration, product uploading, training and query resolution

• Organise regular training sessions to support fashion marketplace merchants with product development and online revenue growth

• Manage customer order fulfilment process to ensure timely dispatch of orders and liaise with merchants, customers and logistics providers to resolve issues that arise

• Provide back-office support and platform training to Field Support Agents

• Provide research and administrative support for the compilation of the social media calendar

• Provide project and administration support to the field, operations and marketing teams

• Conduct testing to support the release of new platform features by the tech team

• Support marketing team with the execution of campaigns

• Monitor SLA performance metrics to ensure user satisfaction

• Monitor ecommerce performance metrics against sales targets

• Work with fashion merchants to maximise inventory on the marketplace

• Manage weekly inventory reports for the marketplace

• Ensure marketplace website copy and meta data are fully optimised to maximise traffic from search engines

• Provide administrative and logistical support for ecommerce photography and other multimedia content production


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience

• Ecommerce operations, social media or fashion industry experience would be an advantage

• Good understanding of fashion marketplaces and the African fashion landscape

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Business proficiency in both English and French would be an advantage

• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, organisational and administrative skills

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving capabilities with a record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines

• Business proficiency in both English and French would be an advantage

• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
