Finance and Account Associate

Location: Lagos State

Full Time

We are looking for a Finance and Account Associate, who will be analysing every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to the management on current and future financial plans.


We are interested in a person who combines a strong analytical mindset with technical ability and excellent people skills.. The ideal individual will be a driven strategic and operational thinker with strong organisational and problem-solving skills and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure due process is followed in all payment in every department where fund is paid out.
  • Preparing, assisting and making payments, remittances of taxes etc
  • Engage in weekly bank reconciliation
  • Ensuring asset and liability register is updated
  • Assist in preparation of budget and variance report.
  • Posting records into the accounting software
  • Assist in preparation of monthly payroll, repayments etc
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and periodic financial reports
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Head Of Operations.


Education And Experience

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc degree in accounting or related field
  • 1 - 5 years of working experience
  • Proficiency in common office and accounting programs like Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.


Salaries and Benefits: Very Competitive but subject to experience.
