Project Manager and Logistics Coordinator Job Opportunities at ActionAid Nigeria

ActionAid Nigeria commenced programmatic operations in January 2000 after a country appraisal which found poverty in the midst of plenty. AAN’s vision is to see a Nigeria without poverty and injustice in which every person enjoys his or her right to life with dignity.

ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the following positions in a new Nutrition Project (subject to funding) to be based in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno States.

Job Position:   Project Manager

Description of the Position
The person will be responsible for overall program management in the zone with both operational and programmatic responsibilities.
The Program Manager bears final responsibility for meeting program deliverables by both National NGOs and Local NGOs.
S/he is also responsible for advocacy and coordination activities.

 Requirement (Qualification and Experience)
A Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, Project management Certification,
Postgraduate Degree in Public health Nutrition/Dietetics and
eight years (8) work experience; four (4) of those years must be in a similar position.

Job Position:  Logistics Coordinator

Description of the Position 
The person will be responsible for managing supply chain logistics of RUTF and routine drugs up to the field level for the program.
He/she will also be responsible for coordinating with relevant partners to ensure effective supply chain management.
The candidate will also support office logistics.

Requirement (Qualification and Experience)
A Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or related discipline and
Seven years (7) work experience; three of those years must be in a similar position.
