Job Position:Lead Cost Engineer
Qualifications

Description
1. Develop and maintain project cost estimate
2. Prepare man hour and cost reports compared with agreed
budget and in line with Cost Breakdown Structure.
2. Update man hours and costs expended on periodic basis
3. Update Planned, Committed and Expended values for
purchases, sub-contracts and construction activities.
4. Utilizing progress data and in discussion with the
Project Management Team, prepare forecast of man hours and cost to complete
engineering, procurement, fabrication, sub-contracts and construction works for
the
project.
5. Review changes in the weekly forecast and variance
against current budget to identify trends or variations.
6. Take the lead preparing PVN's and Change Orders as
required
7. Update trend register on a weekly basis.
8. Undertake reconciliations between cost report and invoice
figures
9. Prepare invoicing summary and back up on a monthly basis.
10. Undertake adhoc reviews and analysis as directed by
Project Controls Management
Main Job Functions
Prepare and maintain the project budget
Prepare and maintain man hour and cost reports compared with
the agreed budget and in line with required Cost Breakdown Structure
Take the lead in preparing PVN's and Change Orders as
required
Qualifications
Engineering or Management Degree / HND Diploma
Minimum 10 years cost engineering experience working within
Project Mgt. engineering office environment.
