Operations Officer Vacancy At Bigpot

Bigpot is a start-up power utility company with a mission to disrupt the African electricity services sector by facilitating the seamless sharing of distributed power assets in the commercial and residential building stock. We are currently looking for an Operations Officer who is passionate about the country-Nigeria and has a positive, can-do attitude. The anticipated duties revolve around supporting on-going efforts to acquire an initial portfolio of power producing clients.

Requirements

  • Passion for solving the Nigerian energy conundrum and wider passion for the emancipation of Nigeria.
  • Understanding of basic electricity terms/willingness to learn very quickly.
  • Previous involvement with a Nigerian start-up.
  • Positive attitude and good social skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Very good communication skills.



Job role

  • Support the search for new installation leads.
  • Engage converted installation leads before and after installation.
  • Keenly keep up with the evolution of Bigpot products.
  • Undertake relevant administration duties.
  • Respond to inquiries made by clients about Bigpot product and services in a professional manner.
  • Manage a cohort of technicians and closely oversee the installation of Bigpot systems.


Skills and Abilities

Ability to multi-tasks and adhere to deadlines.
Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach to work.
Team player.
Basic IT skills.
