About the Role
The Copywriter is responsible for the linguistic content of PR campaign and promotional materials. The copywriter works across a range of media and formats, interpreting account briefs to compose content such as slogans, catchphrases, tweets and press kit materials.

Job Description
The Copywriter’s responsibilities are to;

• Design, write and/or producing presentations, press kits -press releases, articles, leaflets, communiques, reports, information for social media and online platforms.
• Brainstorm visual ideas and copy concepts with other members of the creative team
• Write and Present content options to clients
• Modify copy to the client’s satisfaction
• Meet with client account executives to discuss the client's requirements and core messages
• Get familiar with the company's services, target audience and competitor activities in the market
• Presenting initial ideas to the PR consultants or creative director on development of workable concepts
• ​Provide weekly updates and reports to management

Requirements

•  Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
• Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
• Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
• Be highly self-motivated and well organised
• Have an eye for detail
• Have an interest in popular culture, and new campaign trends and techniques
• A passion for writing and the willingness to learn from other creative professionals
• BA/BSc/HND degree or equivalent relevant experience
