Vacancy for Account Officer

A reputable hospital with branches on the mainland and Island urgently requires an Account Officer.
Job Title- Account Officer

Employment Type- Full Time

Location-Lagos


The candidate must have a first degree in B.SC/HND in Accounting.
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
• Keep financial records up-to-date
• Handle queries on general accounts
• Maintain financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Check vendor invoices for inaccuracies
• Posting and Reconciliation of  accounts with the general ledger
• Handle monthly stock reconciliation
• Handle monthly tax, pension, WHT remittance
• Assist in asset register maintenance
The candidate must have the following competencies:
• A minimum of 2 years proven work experience as an Account Officer.
• Team Oriented.
• Proficiency in MS  Word, MS Excel and Peachtree accounting
• Solid analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualification will be an added advantage
