Vacancy for Account Officer

A reputable hospital with branches on the mainland and Island urgently requires an Account Officer.
Job Title- Account Officer

Employment Type- Full Time

Location-Lagos


The candidate must have a first degree in B.SC/HND in Accounting.
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Keep financial records up-to-date
Handle queries on general accounts
Maintain financial records.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Check vendor invoices for inaccuracies
Posting and Reconciliation of  accounts with the general ledger
Handle monthly stock reconciliation
Handle monthly tax, pension, WHT remittance
Assist in asset register maintenance
The candidate must have the following competencies:
A minimum of 2 years proven work experience as an Account Officer.
Team Oriented.
Proficiency in MS  Word, MS Excel and Peachtree accounting
Solid analytical skills.
Detail-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Professional qualification will be an added advantage
