Job Summary

The Database Administrator at 21st Century Limited will focus on the design, implementation and operations of on-premises and cloud database systems. This role requires deep understanding of database technologies especially Oracle Databases.


Job Details

  • Design, Implement, and maintain Database Systems for 21CTL and its customers.
  • Testing new database and data systems
  • Reporting - Building Query templates for faster access to reports by end users
  • DB related IT Application issues Review and Resolution
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and optimizing database performance.
  • Provide technical support for Database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in databases.


Requirements

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role handling database management systems E.g Oracle, Microsoft SQL and MySQL databases.
  • Ability to work with Linux/Unix based OS Environment.
  • Replication, Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery experience with Databases
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Relevant database certifications are a plus
  • Familiarity with Oracle ExaData and ExaCC infrastructure is an advantage.
