 Data-Lead Africa is a leading organization dedicated to providing data-driven insights and solutions across various sectors in Nigeria and beyond. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Assistant to support our Lead Partner in responding to emails, handling high-level technical correspondence, and managing various strategic initiatives.


Role Overview

The Technical Assistant will work closely with the Lead Partner, providing comprehensive support in communication, brand management, critical thinking, data analytics, and report writing. The ideal candidate will possess strong competencies in these areas, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication:
    • Draft and respond to emails and other forms of correspondence.
    • Write reports with a strong command of the English language.
    • Ensure clarity, professionalism, and effectiveness in all communications.
  • Personal Brand Management:
    • Maintain a consistent and professional online and offline presence for the Lead Partner.
    • Support the Lead Partner in public speaking engagements and presentations as needed.
  • Critical Thinking:
    • Analyze and develop ideas shared by the Lead Partner.
    • Provide thoughtful feedback and insights to support decision-making processes.
    • Engage in strategic planning and problem-solving activities.
  • Research and Data Analytics:
    • Conduct research and gather relevant data to inform projects and initiatives.
    • Analyze data and generate actionable insights.
    • Support the development of data-driven reports and presentations.
  • Presentation and Design:
    • Build professional presentation slide decks.
    • Utilize tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, and Word to create visually appealing and effective presentations.
    • Ensure all presentation materials align with the organization’s branding and messaging.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business Administration, Data Science).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong personal branding and professional presence.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in research and data analytics is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in building presentation slide decks using PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks without supervision.
  • Capability to undertake multidisciplinary tasks through quick studying.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Remuneration Bracket: 2,400,000 – 4,200,000 Naira
