As part of our commitment to affordable and accessible healthcare in Africa, the HMO Billing Officer plays a vital role in managing) billing, reconciliation, and claims management to ensure timely and accurate payment for services rendered.

What to expect:

• Prepare and submit HMO bills and claims accurately and on schedule.
• Review and reconcile HMO payments, rejections, and outstanding balances.
• Liaise with HMO representatives to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all HMO-related transactions.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and ensure prompt remittances.
• Ensure compliance with HMO policies and agreements.
• Generate and present regular billing reports to management.
  
  

Essential education, experience, and skills:

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Health Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in HMO billing or a similar healthcare finance role.
• Strong understanding of HMO operations and billing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
